This converter is NOT a Carb-Approved Converter. It is a Federal-approved Converter. Therefore, due to their state laws, it is not legal to sell or ship to the states of New York and California. Only Carb-approved converters may be shipped to these states.

If your converter needs to be replaced, it is due to an emissions error or a problem in your engine tuning. This must be corrected before you or the installer install this converter. STOP, LOOK, CHECK! Have this conversation with a qualified installer. Blue and overheated converters and their shipping are not covered under warranty. STOP, LOOK, CHECK! Look at your old converter. Is it BLUE? Converters that are blue from overheating or painted, cut, or modified in any way are not covered under any warranty.

Please NOTE: If your new or old converter is rattling inside, this is caused by the ceramic brick inside being overheated and cracking. This will happen again to your new converter within 5 minutes if you have an emission failure in the engine. This is not covered under warranty.

We recommend that you look at our item #221804448055. This product may turn off your PO420 Code, if your converter can be saved. We also recommend buying this kit before changing your converter. These items are specially designed solutions to remove excess carbon & soot. For Catalytic Converter Efficiency and long life we recommend the use of Top Tier Fuels and regular fuel system treatment every 5,000 miles. We also recommend a professional de-carbonizing when replacing a Catalytic Converter or every 80,000 miles. This Converter can NOT be shipped or sold to the state of California. In New York, it can be sold for installation by you, a private individual as the installer. Please consult your NY- Registered Repair shop before buying this converter.
